Difference Between Gurus

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

Divine Knowledge      Guru       4 Steps         Paramaguru       Devotional Ways     Different Gurus

A guru is someone who is qualified to teach or guide another to his standard. Mainly there are two types of gurus. Parents or persons guiding others are actually gurus seeking their own interest. They live to accomplish their object.

Another type of guru is called or identified as a 'Guru with a Reason'. We can rarely see such Gurus. They are the ones whose only object is the spiritual benefit of their disciples. They work like remedies in other's heart and mind.

Such Gurus place themselves in difficult, embarrassing and brainstorming situation in-order to get rid of their disciple's pride, ignorance, fear and ego obstructing self-realization.

You can have as many Gurus as you want but having a 'Guru with a Reason' is a blessing of God. Such Gurus are representatives of God who are able to guide others in attaining salvation.

A person will always feel bored by his daily duties. The heart will search for other interesting entertainment for the senses that will become bored again. This is an experience of a normal person.

But try searching within you that calms down your senses. Every stage of your spiritual advancement will give satisfaction and peace.

The undying inner happiness and urge to go further in exploring yourself brightens the knowledge and quenches the thirst
of your soul by gaining answers for all the questions you have asked.

A 'Guru with a Reason' becomes your inspiration in your research. Like nature, he gives everything he has to others but a person's ego and ignorance prevents one in understanding the truth in that message.

Such Gurus act as a medicine that will taste bitter, sour, sweet or even horrible at times but it cures. Talented patients will still take such medicines while the untalented ones will avoid it and unknowingly entrap themselves deeper.

A true Guru will not satisfy your requirements but he will give painful experiences to clear your falsehood to gain self-revelation.
