Our Stars - Inner Self

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

The 'OM' is the sound of Brahmam. It is mainly identified by the combination of "Ah Hu Ma" sounds. Each is characterized according to its creation, preservation & destruction ability.

These powers are easily identified as Brahma (creator), Vishnu (preserver) and Siva (destroyer).

Our souls are part of Brahmam. Our birth is connected to the karma. Mainly the character does such karma. These characters are related to the (birth) stars located in the universal zone.

Though the 'OM' is everywhere; the "Ah" zone is very effective being nearest to Brahmam. The "Hu" zone is effective situated after the m zone. The "Ma" zone is effective after the c zone.

The star's character (human) rules mainly according to their position in such zones though still possessing the effects of other zones.

To simplify, each zone's character is identified as (AH) Saathvigam, (HU) Rajasam & (MA) Thamasam.

By this classification, a person is easily identified on what type of basic treatment/divine knowledge activates the (AH) power. While others with the 'AH' power can be guided on how to energize it further.

All of us are born with human bodies but don't all behave similarly. The stars reveal our inner self of what is within us.

We see people like angels enjoying themselves and we also see angels enjoying in other's sorrow.

We see humble people turning out to be terrorist or behaving violently to surprise others. These are the 'inner-self' in us that gets exposed in certain situations.

Such 'inner-self' is linked to the previous life karma. What one does presently begets onto the next life.

Our memory records activate it to carry out the consequences while in the next new body/birth.

Pranaayamum

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

Breath is important for everyone to stay alive. It has a vital role in our body function. Pranaayaamum is a method to monitor our breathing movements. The mantra of our breath is 'sohum' or 'hamsa'.

If you listen carefully to the inhaling and exhaling sound, you will know it too. It means that our jeevatma (soul) is paramathma (supreme soul) and vice versa.

Breathing in and out at the right side by closing your left side of the nose with your finger and then vice versa is the first step.

Breathing in through the right side and exhaling through the left of the nose and vice versa will be the second step.

Pranaayamum helps to awaken the 'kundalini power' at the tip of the backbone. It energises the 'chakras' effectively if one can practice at the right time (as shown below).

Great Yogis have concluded that by stopping the breath by proper pranaayaamum practice, it's possible to expand a person's life span.

This is how we see some 'divine ones' who sit in one place for many years without food, drink or movement.

Meditation

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

1. Focusing our mind or thoughts steadily upon an object or God is mediation.

2. Meditation is meant for Self-realization and God-realization

3. There are two types/ways of meditation:
  - Meditating a form that helps in self-realization.
  - Meditating the sky/space/light that helps in God-realization.

4. Meditating the cosmic energy (space/sky/light) is called Parabrahmamn that gives salvation.

5. Once the form you meditate remains in your mind even during other commitments, then your mind is prepared for meditation.

6. In case you are meditating God's form, then you should meditate him/her in a simple appearance without any ornaments.

7. Observe self-discipline, be helpful, be clean and don't cheat or steal. Read Vedas and practice penance (thavam). Keep yourself      happy and avoid matters that hinder your good path. By these good habits you will be inspired to move nearer to Brahmam fast.

8. Daily practise 'Pranaayaamum' (breathing procedure) and recite the name of God by heart at all times.

9. Approach a 'right' Guru for guidance and blessings.

Introduction

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

Are you choosing the right person?

Disciples and Seekers will always get the kind of Guru they deserve. Those who are overcome by material desires, ego and seeking power to achieve it will find a similar Guru.

As inner vibration on that level can only correspond to someone of a similar orientation.

Disciples who don't understand this truth will always refrain from a true Guru of spirituality thinking that they are frauds or imposters trying to make a living out of them.

In the name of 'Kindness', a Guru is also putting himself at risk by accepting such wrong followers.

Snake Stick - Foot Prints

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

Foot Prints

You must have read about the life story of our Honorable Guru Sri Kalki Jothi. It is written that since he was 5 years old, ‘Mother Kaliamman' became his respectable guru and guardian. These are ‘her' footprints embedded on our marble flooring at our premises that appeared two weeks after we shifted in which was about 7 years ago.

Mother's Foot Print

Snake Stick

Shown here is the ‘Snake Cane', which he received from a huge snake at the age of five while he was playing near a chicken pen in Mersing. The snake after placing ‘it' in front of him carried its head high and tapped on the ground 3 times and slithered away without a trace.

Kempas Durga Amman temple was founded by our guru. The presiding ‘mother' appeared in his dreams. This temple has been there for more than 80 years. On those early years, ‘she' was worshipped as ‘Snake Goddess'. People have seen various colored snakes and huge pythons at this place but they never harm others. Nobody knows from where they come and go.

Once a snake slithered on his chest while he was resting on the field after some training. It went away quietly after been told by our guru to leave. On those days, a cobra used to lie down quietly in his prayer altar. About 2 years back, a snake tried to enter our present premises but was stopped by a disciple so it slithered into a hole nearby. I think that ‘the snake like cane' can be a symbol of their relationship.

Presently, We are experiencing the Sun's increasing heat. We also see that the Ice is melting fast. When the heat increases, the resources (petrol, oil, water etc.) from Earth will dry up and agriculture will be affected. The increase in sea level will flood lowlands making the land areas smaller in size while in other places, land will become barren or may turn into deserts.

Natural disasters will occur frequently and it will be more disastrous. Big countries will be affected most. There will be social unrest among people. When the resources dry, affected countries requests may be turn down which can lead to conflicts. Humanity and unity should be widely practised.

The wealthy people must help the poor ones. We should get rid of our arrogance, selfish attitude, jealousy and greediness.  Countries should avoid eyeing on others' properties or resources. This may lead to war.

Do your daily prayers, increase your willpower and ask mercy from God. Though we have different beliefs, when Earth is affected, all of us will somehow be affected too.

Love Earth. Be kind to everyone.

Soon the life span of iron material will expire and this will cause various accidents (Like cars, trains, ships etc).

About 3 or 4 countries in S.E.Asia region will face severe flood problems. We can expect big earthquakes too.

30th October 2005

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

In future people will experience 'blood rain'. Big and highly populated continents will become small due to natural disasters.

As informed earlier, the melting snow from the Himalaya mountain range will affect about 20 million people in the surrounding countries.

In fact, there is no safety in any part of the world from natural disasters.

On 12 Oct 05 morning we performed a 'fire-prayers' (yagna), to get rid of 'dengue fever' and 'bird flu' here. We hope our prayers will be answered.

29 March 2005

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

On 26 Jan 2005, our guru predicted that in time to come, the sun’s heat will increase and we will experience fire rain as well.  A neighboring country will experience an earthquake that will wreck the national highway by landslides (mountainous region). An island will be pushed nearer a peninsula.

On 27 Jan 2005, guru prophesied that a highly populated religious country has chances of splitting into 2 or 3 parts. On nearing 2009/2010, snow from the Himalayas and Mount Kailash will melt flooding the surrounding lowlands.

‘Mother’ has informed our Guru that there is going to be another big earthquake anytime from April 2005.

Recently, I read an article in the newspaper, it read "Where was god when Tsunami came?" "Is nature powerful than God that makes God helpless and why did God let people share his suffering?" "If it is ones'Karma or Sin why all must go through this disaster?"

Divine knowledge and science leads to many discoveries about nature. Science comes with evidence, while divine knowledge is gained by personal research and experience and in most cases it cannot be shown to others but could only be felt. Self-realization is personal research and the outcome of such research is knowledge (experience). God is less powerful to those who see his power in a 'form' or 'religion'. He is more powerful when you realize his universal level. God is nature and nature is god. He destroys what he has created and others can't question him. Our body is also a temporary shelter for the soul.

When we say that 'we' are the representatives of God means the 'soul' is part of the Supreme Power (god). Self-realization by meditation gives this understanding about the relationship of our soul with the cosmic power. Our body is programmed in a way to get answers. Those with this great knowledge accept death willingly and their soul returns to its origin while those without such understanding takes death as a painful unacceptable experience.

“We believe that Earth functions smoothly with the strength of moral law, justice, faith, love and humanity”. Whenever these decline, this leads to natural disasters. During such occurrences, some innocent people are also affected.

As I have written earlier, once a person understands about the cosmic powers (GOD), he would also understand about the secrets or changes in Nature. Based on such divine knowledge, our guru Sri Kalki Jothi had predicted many incidents in the past. Such as, changes in planetary positions, scientists discovering new planets, breaking up of countries and many natural disasters. Few years ago, some reporters interviewed him in India asking about the huge rock that was approaching earth and he told them that Earth would not be affected. But he warned about Japan’s Kobe earthquake that took place as predicted.

About four months ago, he was telling us that earth is going to shiver anytime. This was the recent earthquake that caused the tidal wave - Tsunami. According to his prediction, there will be another shiver causing massive destruction. Recently scientists mentioned about the lava from the underground volcanoes flowing below the surface in Africa. Our guru, mentioned this to us a year ago. This would cause explosions that can split Africa. Some countries in Asia region too have such problems.

The flow of lava will merge with oil wells that will cause huge explosions in the future. The sun’s heat will increase and the melting snow will increase the sea level. Many places will become barren and earth will become hot. Drinking water will be insufficient that could lead to conflicts among countries. The landscape of many places on the world map will change and some will disappear below the sea. According to his past predictions many had happened and now we will witness the future.

The best remedy for us now, is to pray for God’s love and forgiveness. Be united and help others in need.

Sri Jothi Ashram

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

Many people from various walks of life raise funds to help the needy. It is a very good service. But at times, when we build a home, in one place there will be another disaster elsewhere or the same place will be effected again. According to Bagavad Gita, Earth functions properly by the support of moral law.

When moral law subsides mainly due to the ignorance of mankind, immoral act increases that indirectly leads to natural disasters. I think that by giving equal importance in maintaining moral law will help our future generation. Social unrest, religious and family problems can be solved gradually. Though much time has elapsed, we can still do our small service.

For this reason, I am always longing to have a place (ashram) to educate children regardless of race or religion, from the age of 5 yrs old. A place that teaches the essence of human life, self-discipline, respects for parents and elders.

This will help parents in many ways and prevent children from going astray. Practices on yoga helps them to be healthy person while meditation gives them the knowledge in understanding things/matters more clearly and it also gives patience.

Lessons on moral law guide one from knowing what is right and wrong which helps to avoid sinful acts. Knowledge about all religions gives a better understanding that can bring unity and respect for all races. All these classes will be conducted with professional assistance.

By 12 yrs old, these children will be in good mindset and will be a good person from 'inside'. When one becomes matured at this age he/she will be aware of life's necessity. School education is important to survive in this materialistic world but we also need a healthy, happy and peaceful life. Growing up as good person solves family and social problems. It's like strengthening the roots of the plants to grow well and healthy. It also helps to reduce immoral acts.

We can't always rely on weapons or law and order to maintain peace and harmony. If we correct our errors we can see less (natural) destruction.

We welcome donations from visitors to our site who are keen to be part of this 'good deed". Please send your money order, demand draft or crossed cheques to Sri Kalki Peedum Society.

Mt Kailash - Memories

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

When we saw the video tape on “Mt.Kailash pilgrimage”; it did not seem to be that difficult to us. All of us were counting the days and also the money to pay for our trip. It is not cheap to pay in US dollars. However we only had one goal, no matter what happens we should accomplish the trip successfully. Money and health conditions are just normal requirements for all types of trip but true devotion is an exemplary source for this trip.

After leaving our hotel in Nepal to Tibet, none had the slightest thought of the hectic journey waiting for us. The bus that took us from our hotel was traveling fast and we were enjoying the beautiful hill sight views. As we were reaching the Nepal border, the bus had to travel in a very narrow path that was just enough for the tires to roll on.

At one point the back tyre missed half an inch that made all of us to scream. Just imagine a fall from that height definitely will cause even a brave one to miss his heartbeat. On reaching the Nepal border all of us cleared the immigration and walked across the bridge to the China border. After this immigration clearance we walked to the Rovers waiting for us. About 7 Tibetan drivers and a Chinese guide accompanied by our Nepalese guides brought us to the next stopping area. On the way, we had similar experiences but it was quite adventurous when our Rovers traveled on the muddy path through some waterfalls.

We reached a place called Nylam; a rest house or lodge meant for travelers. We stayed here for three days. Our guides informed us that this stay is necessary to test our body conditions against altitude problems.

Many had fever, headaches, vomiting, dizziness, constipation, breathlessness and blood flow from the nose. We were more than 4,000 feet above sea level and the height will be accelerating to about 5,600 feet near Mt. Kailash.

As there were no phone networks further; we made our last phone calls to the loved ones here and started our trip to the next destination. The rovers went up and down the sandy mountains. We saw snow covering some of it. The sunshine and the quiet atmosphere touched our hearts. We only saw a few Tibetans moving with their herds of goats and yaks.

We stopped for lunch along the way facing a huge lake that actually looked more like a sea. After half an hour break the rovers started to roll on fast in between the mountains again to catch the last ferry. Suddenly from behind the mountains, we saw a big river. Our guides told us that it was Brahmaputra River.

Our drivers rushed to the ferry waiting there. We quickly alighted from the vehicles and boarded the ferry. The drivers drove their rovers onto the ferry. The ferry moved slowly and reached the other side of the river. The vehicles were drove out and again we got into it. Within 30 minutes we reached a small town called Saga. The sight of Saga gave everyone a relief. All were waiting to take an immediate nap after that 8 to 10 hours journey.

The next morning we traveled from Saga to Parayang. We reached there within 5 hours. It was another Tibetan lodge. Far away behind many mountains, we saw the tip of Mt. Kailash. We admired the sacred mountain and recited the 'Siva Mantra' in heart.

Our guru, Sri Kalki Jothi began to have a very high fever. We became worried when the medicines did not worked on him. He was a pillar for our willpower and our inspiration through out.

We understood that his inner spirit was getting close to Lord Siva increasing his 'Inner Light'. After spending the night there, the next morning we were driven for scenic view to Dongba before reaching the sacred lake Manasarover.

We saw Mt. Kailash in full view from here. We waited there for another group of people to complete their prayers. While waiting we saw a middle aged hermit walking along the path. He was wearing saffron cotton cloth around his waist above the knees and another cloth across his body.

He was carrying a small kettle like container made from bronze. His hair logs were neatly rolled up above his head. A few of us approached and greeted him. He blessed us while reciting Lord Siva mantras. He spoke in some language, which we did not understand. We kindly requested him to speak in English and he spoke. He asked why we were there and which country we were from.

After answering him, we too asked him the same question. He told us that he was from the Pasupathi temple in Nepal. He went around the lake for 2 days and will be returning back soon. Yes, we remembered the same Pasupathi temple that we went before beginning our trip.

This temple is believed to be the door entrance for Mt. Kailash pilgrims. We brought him to the others participating in the prayers. He blessed all of them and left. Soon after the prayers, our guides brought us to a nearby lodge on top a mountain to spent the night.

The next day about mid-noon, we packed our things and went to the lake again. Everyone changed quickly to have a holy bath. The water was very clean and cold. We could feel coolness in our veins. The body became numb for 2 seconds. We took a fast dip and prayed to Mt. Kailash facing us. Immediately after prayers, we rushed to our vehicles to change into dry clothes to get rid of the shivering. When everyone were ready, the drivers drove around the lake. We admired the beautiful surrounding and the lake water appearing in different shades of color at different angles.

Upon completing, we were on our way to Darchan. It was a terrible bumpy ride. We also had to cross a river with the water level nearly reaching the doors. On reaching Darchan, we saw Mt. Kailash just behind the mountain beside our lodge. We felt that we were very close to Lord Siva. When night falls, we saw the full moon larger in size than in our country as if it was quite close to earth. Everyone waited eagerly for the next day to begin their first trekking.

However our group were worried about Sri Kalki's health conditions. During our stay in Darchan, most of the time he was sleeping. We realised that he was very close to the supreme power. His mouth and hand movements all the time revealed that he was communicating to someone. Even the wet towels placed on his forehead to decrease his temperature were useless. It dried up in less than 20 minutes. We requested our guides to show him to a doctor.

A Tibetan herbal doctor came from a nearby clinic. He checked our guru's temperature and his other body conditions. We felt relieved when the doctor informed us that though our guru was having high fever, his body condition was still good.

Soon after the doctor left, the rest of them went back to their rooms. However, I could not sleep well. Our guru's condition really worried me. I just close my eyes trying my best to sleep. When it was about 2 to 3 in the morning, I heard the dogs barking and felt someone entering the room.

I quickly turned towards the door. It was closed and nobody was in the room. However, I felt the presence of someone invisible. I did not bother about it much since I knew our guru could see, talk and handle all invisible ones too.

Next morning, my guru was given a complete bed rest and I stayed back to see to his needs while the guides brought the rest to the Nandhi Hill. This trekking was actually a ‘warm-up’ for all before going to Mt. Kailash. It took more than 8 hours for them to climb the hill, walk a few kilometers before returning to the lodge. All of them were exhausted. Our group came back first and told us about what they saw there. Most of them felt breathless due to the shortage of oxygen. Some were too tired to follow the group. However, they were surprised to see four dogs following them. Two dogs in front and the other two behind them. These dogs accompanied our group till they returned back.

It was 6.00 am; all of us were packing our bags and getting ready for our breakfast. We were very happy to see our guru in good health. Soon after breakfast, we were walking towards the parked rovers. “Hello there!” the sound of a familiar voice; all of us quickly turned to the direction where the sound came from. We were very surprised to see the same hermit whom we met at Lake Manasarover. He should have returned to Nepal about 3 days ago. His appearance there within this short period without transport really startled us. “So all of you going to Mt. Kailash; good. I see you there in 2 days time”. We just smiled and nodded our heads. This time we noticed lots of Rudrash beads around his neck and an elbow length trident in his hand. The same kettle-like bronze container and a wooden stick in the other hand.

We did not know what to talk to him. However, we just smiled and waived good-bye in response. As our rover trucks were moving out of the exit, we saw him sitting on the ground. We kept on turning back to catch the last glimpse of him. “Oh! My God” he suddenly disappeared from that place. We quickly looked around in all directions to confirm what we saw was true. Since it was a level ground, nobody can move around unnoticed. We understood that the hermit was not an ordinary person and his visit was actually a blessing for all.

Throughout the journey, all of us were discussing about that incident. When the drivers stopped at the next destination, we saw a tall pole and many small pieces of colored materials attached to the strings tied to the pole. The guides informed us that the Tibetans tie such cloth here wishing for a safe journey or for any other things.

A few steps away from here we saw a small shelter. We walked there; one of the guides told us that this prayer place was for the ‘God of Death’. You could offer anything and pray for a safe journey. As advised, we poured a packet of milk and prayed while the others left for the next stop.

Once we joined the others, the guides took our bags and transferred it to the 3-ton truck, which was carrying all the kitchen utensils and other essential things. The guides told us to walk slowly along the path, while they waited for the ‘yaks’. We were walking in between big mountains. The path was even and uneven throughout. We climbed small hills and crossed small rivers along the way. All of us were tired and frustrated to see the endless path. My guru was far ahead of us and two of our group members were using their best effort to stay close with him.

We were very surprised to see his energetic movement that encouraged us to move on fast. Everyone stopped near a Tibetan tent. We waited for others. Our guides came with the Yaks and its runners. We took our lunch in the tent and rested for a few minutes. When all were ready, the guides brought us near the yaks. The yak runners carried us onto the yaks. It was scary and we felt very uncomfortable sitting on it. Some of the elderly ones were afraid that they might get hurt if they fall from it.

However no excuses were accepted, the guides sternly advised us to get use to it. When the yaks started to move on their own, many started to scream and mumble loudly to seek assistance from the runners. Since none of us knew their language, it was an additional problem for us. The rest of us decided to handle the yaks on our own to avoid any falls. The yaks jumped on the sight of small bushes and rushed to feed on it.

Some ran towards the river to seep water. Climbing the small hills and running down slopes panicked us most of the time. The sight of the lodge gave us a great relieved. Most of them voluntarily got down from the yaks and started to walk. However our first experience riding on yaks were exciting and painful.

The lodge was facing the northern side of Mt. Kailash. The melting snow formed many small rivers around it. The water was gushing away in high speed. The cold breeze and the view of other sandy mountains with scattered huge rocks on the slopes were something new to us. Our thoughts were distracted when the guides told us to go into the rooms.

Due to the shortage of rooms, seven to ten people were squeezed into one room. Actually we were the lucky ones because the late comers pitched their tents outside the lodge. Once we were settled, our guides set up their kitchen and began their cooking.

While waiting for dinner, some of us climbed the sandy mountains very carefully to have a closer look of Mt. Kailash. Above the mountain we saw a similar prayer place; the colored clothes tied to it indicated the number people who have visited this holy place before us.

After our heart felt prayer, we came down just on time for dinner. The guides briefed us on the next day’s trip and advised us to sleep early. The lights went off at about 10pm while we tucked into our blankets tightly to maintain our body temperature. It was a very cold night for all, the full moon just beside the tip of Mt. Kailash lighted up the place. It was really a beautiful view soothing our minds and tiredness away.

As usual everyone woke up early and completed their morning duties. All of us felt still fresh even without our bath for the past few days and expected the same till we reached Nylam again. Afraid of ‘frost bites’, our guides had strictly instructed us not take bath at any place unless been told. The warm water given to us every morning for wash-ups was good enough for everyone.

We packed our bags immediately after breakfast and gave to the guides as requested. The bags were tied to the yaks. Once everyone was ready, our guides lead us to a rocky mountain across a wild river. We waited for the yaks and climbed on their backs. Its runners were whistling at the yaks and they started to move towards the top. It was a very scary, uncomfortable, dangerous and breathless experience for all. But the yaks did not seem to be afraid of such balancing acts. You could never see a leveled ground around but only rocks with different sizes.

Anyone can get injured or sprain with one careless move. But the yaks moved freely as they like, chilling our hearts when they jumped or stopped suddenly at any verge to feed. We would be sitting on their backs and holding a wooden support tightly trying our best not to slip and fall at any incline or decline positions. It was even worst to see the depth of the mountain and the sizes of the river flowing below.

As we go higher and higher, the yaks too became breathless. They pause awhile and continued. Finally when we reached the top, its runners moved the yaks to a side. We sat down and rested for the rest to join us. While waiting, we took photographs and admired the barren surrounding. Drinks were provided for all to quench their thirst and to replace the insufficient oxygen in air. We saw the yaks moving ahead of us by its runners. When everyone was present, the guides told us to move-on. A stick was provided to support our moves.

We walked very carefully in a single line as the path leads us. Every cautious move is necessary to avoid any mishaps. On our way, we noticed a lake beneath the slope. The water was dark green in color. A guide informed us the lake was called “Gowri Gundam”. The water that looked greenish, once being scooped will look like normal water. After taking some photographs, everyone moved on and on. At one place, we crossed a frozen river. Our foot sank into the snow covering the shoes completely. After that thrilling experienced, we stopped for our late lunch.

Everyone felt very tired and was waiting hopefully to the complete the journey fast. The guides told us to carry on while they accompanied the old ones. Our legs were aching terribly walking on the rocky path, going up and down the slopes and jumping across small rivers. Some stopped and rested at many places, as they felt dizzy due to insufficient oxygen.

The journey continued for many hours till finally we reach a steep slope. We saw a mini lodge from above; we walked down very slowly minding our steps very cautiously. We felt very relieved upon reaching the base. We sat down and rested while waiting for the others. It took almost nine hours to reach here and another one or two hours ahead to reach our lodge.

When all of us were ready, the guides told us to walk towards the yaks. Most of us felt very uneasy and frustrated to get on the yaks again. Since there was no other choice, we sat on the yaks. The yaks started to move as they wished. At times, the yaks walked very close rubbing against each other that hurt our legs.

Two pilgrims hurt their waist and backs when the yaks threw them down while they jumped over a rock. Some picked up fights with other yaks. Their deeds were intolerable that some of the pilgrims cried quietly. Along the way, we came across a narrow path between a small hill and a slope beside. All the yaks were moving in a single line closed to each other.

We were looking at the river at the base of the slope with a ‘eerie’ feeling deep in our hearts. Suddenly the yak in front me jumped and pushed the old man down. He was lying on the ground helplessly while the yak that I was sitting on quickly jumped onto the slope followed by other yak behind me. Both of us were shocked but stable. The yaks fed on the grasses and moved freely. We were adjusting ourselves to all positions and secured our grip tightly. At one time, we were watching the river surface directly above it.

I quickly prayed for our safety. The yaks began to move up and down the slope till it reached the proper path again. The runners came to check on us. We immediately climbed down from the yaks with their assistance and the rest followed us. We walked slowly and reached the lodge soon. All of us were too tired to move around that we had to lie on the beds until dinner was served. Immediately after dinner, everyone went to bed for a complete rest.

The next day was the last for us to complete the trip around Mt. Kailash. The thought of completion was very encouraging. Soon after breakfast, as informed by the guides, we walked on the footpath leading to the finishing point. We were moving in small groups. As usual our guru was ahead of us. He waited for us until we were a few steps away and than carried on. Since it was a flat ground we felt safe. Soon we reached a path on a sandy hill.

We began to walk very slowly and carefully behind one another. The sand was very slippery so we used the stick to poke into the ground as a support. During this moment, we began to smell the fragrance of jasmine flowers and neem leaves. We understood that we were not alone.

After reaching the safe end, we grouped again and continued. We reached an old wooden bridge. The water below the bridge was gushing away fast. We crossed it by holding each other’s hand. Someone informed us that we just a few kilometers away from the finishing area so we decided to move on without resting. Soon we saw some people waving their hands at us from the finishing point. We felt very happy and moved faster than usual. On reaching our destination, others were clapping and cheering at us. We congratulated and shook hands among each other. Some were seen jumping with joy.

Our grouped moved to a side and rested on the rocks. Photographs were taken. A sound of a bird distracted us. We quickly looked above us and saw a “Garudan (falcon)- a bird used to carry Lord Vishnu on the back”.

It looked bigger in size than usual. The sound made by it was quite loud that everyone heard it clearly. Suddenly from behind the clouds, another seven such birds flew out. They were in normal size. All of them circled three times above us than flew behind the mountains. We never saw them again. Our guru told us that it was an auspicious sign.

Once the whole group has completed, we got up the rovers that came to fetch us. We were driven back to Darshan. We went to our rooms and slowly unpacked our languages.

We sort out the dirty and clean clothes separately and repacked it. We took our naps after a good wash up. Those who felt bored assisted the guides in their cooking.

We were passing time discussing about each other’s personal feeling and contentment in completing the trip. Most of us experienced a ‘magical feeling’ that all the energy and hectic efforts to complete the trip vanished instantly like been waked up from a dream.

The next day, we began our trip back to Nylam. This time the drivers took another shorter route. On the way, we stayed at the same lodge for a night and reached Nylam the following night. Many hours of travelling made us feel very exhausted. When the guides told us about our early departure at 3am, we immediately felt that there would not be enough time for us to have complete rest. However the thought of getting back to our hotel rooms in Nepal boosted our body energy.

Soon after dinner, we left the dinner plates outside our rooms and went to bed to get as much sleep as possible. We were up by 2 am and getting ready. Our guru was quite disturbed by the thought of safety. The unpredictable landslides and bad road conditions especially traveling at such an hour in darkness was a risk. He sat in meditation to foresee problems and seek guidance. I was making tea for my guru when I heard someone calling for ‘guru, guru.’ and knocking our door. That voice was not a familiar one.

I quickly opened the door to see who was the person. A neatly dressed up man with trimmed haircut. He does not looked like a Tibetan as they were only seen wearing customary colorful clothes. Their appearance with uncombed hair, dirty clothes and always begging for food and money reveals the poverty. As I stood there trying to figure out him, the other group members joined me. One of them told us that the lodge’s main gate was padlocked. However without hesitating, the man went near to our guru who was still in meditation. He called ‘guru’ a few times till our guru opened his eyes. He went near my guru’s legs to seek his blessings. My guru looked closely at him.

The person did not stand at one place instead he was moving side to side with his hands and fingers folded. He was touching his head frequently with his hands and all the time stood with humped back as a sign of great respect. However his face looked very bright that attracted us and revealed that he was not a person from the streets. We gave him money but he refused to accept it. He kept on asking my guru for his blessings with hand signals. My guru got down the bed and stood while he quickly touched his feet. He went around our guru a few times and walked out of the room. He came back in few minutes and put something into our mouth.

He asked our guru for (rosary beads) jaba bead kept on the bed. My guru took one of it and placed it around his neck. We were informed by a guide to get on to our rovers. The person followed us to our vehicles. While our bags were taken for loading, that person asked our guru what mantra to recite for the jaba bead. My guru told him to recite his “Om Sri Kalki Jothi” mantra.

To show his joy, that person touched his forehead with our guru’s forehead. When the drivers were ready, we went into the rovers that moved out of the lodges parking area. The person waved his hands and suddenly disappeared from the place he was standing. On the way, our guru revealed his identity and showed us the ring given as a gift.

As expected the road was in a bad condition. We stopped at many places to allow the oncoming vehicles to move. When the morning sun was rising, we could see many landslides and at some places along the way uprooted trees were blocking the path. Soon we reached the China’s border and cleared the immigration.

We thanked the Tibetan drivers and the Chinese guide and walked towards the Nepal Border for another clearance.

We took our lunch at one of the stalls while waiting for our transport. Another driver informed us about a landslide. All of us got into another bus till we reached the landslide area.

We walked over the landslides and took the bus arranged for us. We reached our hotel in the evening.

The last two days before departure were spent for resting and shopping.

It was an unforgettable experience for all.

THE STARS, PLANETS AND US

Understanding the effects of nature on Humans is one part of it. The Planets co-ordinate according to "cause and effect" in a person's life relating to his past Karma.

Like the sun, other planet's rays reaches us.This is predicted in an astrological Terms.

Sun - Suriyan
Jupiter - Viyaalen
Neptune - Ketu
Moon - Santhiren
Venus - Sukiren
Mars - Sevvaai
Saturn - Sani
Mercury - Buutan
Uranus - Ragu

This relation between us and the planets are simplified in the form of Navagraha (9 planets) Prayers. Though it is not of much help, praying to the supreme power in the form of the planet's ruling god (Durga, Muruga, Siva) gives mental strength (courage) to withstand it.

THE BODY WITHIN US

Our body consists of skeletons, muscles, cells and other major systems. But invisibly, we have other 2 types of bodies within the normal one.

The normal body (Isthula udal) that functions with the assistance of the skeletons, muscles, cells and the major systems (heart, lungs, digestive system, brain, blood system etc). This normal body is discarded upon death.

An astral body (suutchama udal) is linked with the senses. These senses are used for feeling, tasting, hearing, seeing and smelling. It is also linked with our anger, desires, jealousy and others.

This astral body can leave and return to the normal body while asleep. It may feel like a dream. People who face sudden death are usually seen in this body. Those who lose their body parts during accidents will move around the same manner in this body which are described as ghost. Higher spiritual gurus or beings also move around in such way and at times mistaken as god.

Within the astral body is the Causal body (Karana Udal), which is related to the karma's effects. Upon death, this causal body travels in the air with recorded memories of all the karma done by a person. On rebirth, it continues its duties in co-ordination with the planets.

Though our life is totally under the influence of nature; here is a simple chart that generally explains the "cause & effect" of karma if we take sickness as the topic.

Sun rules the head area

Moon rules the face and stomach areas

Buutan rules the neck area

Sevvaai & Ketu rules the shoulders and arms

Jupiter rules the Heart

Sukiren the private area

Sani & Ragu rules the legs

When the planets moves (Peyirchi) the rays will join another ray in its place (house) which will result in two or more sickness at a time or acute problems.

Our Breath and Mind Revelation

Most of us would wonder how God would hear our prayers? It is the invisible waves that transmit our prayers to God. It is similar with Radio broadcasting system.

Our soul as part of Brahmam can communicate by airwaves. Similarly, when our mind deeply concentrates on God, the prayers within us will reach god by the airwaves. That's the reason on why they say praying by heart is very efficient.

Similarly, meditation is very effective in all divine matters as it picks answers from the airwaves and keeps us informed. Breathing is a silent mantra of Brahmam. If you listen to the breathing pattern, you can hear the sound 'Soh' when breathing in and 'hum' when breathing out. Great ones say that this is the mantra of the soul.

Knowing or unknowingly every living thing is praying to Brahmam. When breathing stops death occurs. Everyone can live without body parts but no one can live without breath.

Breathing through the right and left side of the nose is differentiated as 'pingalai' & 'edaikalai'. Exercising it in 'Pranayaamum' method makes the air to reach the Kundalini power. Kundalini power plays the main role in self-realization that eventually leads to understanding the Brahmam.

Our Breath and Mind Revelation

The breath reaches all energy wheels/chakras in a systematic way. It begins from the tip of the backbone called Muladharam. This is just above the kundalini power. It looks more like an elephant's head and its trunk.

This is one of the reasons for worshipping Lord Ganesh first. The air assists us for clearing the bowels and other related works.

When the breath reaches other Chakras, it boosts up the functions accordingly. The breath on reaching the head does the same but when in meditation it helps to control the mind waves to relax. This relaxation spurs our knowledge in understanding various divine matters and nature. This is the area for contacting the supreme power more efficiently.

However, this is not as easy as one thinks for the past present karma, our staunch devotion and open minded perception about other believes will play its part till we are capable to know Brahmam as it is. Our birth stars can roughly reveal the karma that we would experience as it is represented by our behaviors.

The following stars will reveal which behavior influences you most among the three types:-

The Thamasam Gunam
Aswini, thiruvathirai, mirugaasishem, pusam, magam, swathi, sithirai, anusham, moolam, sathaiyam, ahvittam, uthiraatathi.

Asuras are those who will justify their misdeeds.

Such stars are the following:-

Krithigai, ahyilyum, magam, visaagam, sithirai, kettai, moolam, avittam, sathaiyam.

When a person tries to gain higher spiritual knowledge, he will have to overcome all these obstacles controlling the mind.

When meditating the Brahmam with willpower and deep devotion, the prayers will weaken all obstructions caused by the planets.

The mind with the help of the breath will elevate the divine feelings. This makes us realize that the soul is separate from the body.

INCARNATIONS OF GOD

God incarnates to guide mankind according to the phase of time and assuring the right knowledge for upholding moral law.

Sriman Narayana
is famous for his various incarnations. Though all are taken to oppose or dispose demonic people and to protect moral law, the incarnations do have other purposes too.

Matcha Avatar (Fish form)

This avatar was taken to retrieve the Vedas that were stolen and hidden in the universal ocean by the Asuras from Lord Brahma. The Vedas are the guide for all creations. This Matcha avatar informs us that creations began in water.

Koorma Avatar (turtle form)

When the Asuras and Devas churned the Milk Ocean with the huge Mehru-mountain with the Vasuki snake used as a rope, the mountain began to sink into the ocean. Koorma avatar was taken to support the mountain.

This avatar represents lives that survived both on land and water. It also could be taken as churning the kundalini power. It has been said that the kundalini power looks more like a snake coiled around the mountain that looks like a 'lingam'

Varaha Avatar (boar face & human body)

This avatar was taken to bring up Earth to the surface of the universal ocean. This avatar also symbolizes the beginning of creation on Earth. It could also mean the bringing up kundalini power to the 'Suvaathistaanam', the Earth energy chakra to begin creation.

Narashimha Avatar (lion face & human body)

This avatar was taken to kill the demon king who was protected by the boon granted by Lord Brahma and no normal person born for a woman could kill him. This also symbolizes those who live like demons or on people who looked normal but possesses demonic behavior that could be overcome by great devotion. To simplify, all feelings distracting one away from the right path can be saved by devotion.

Vamana Avatar

This Avatar was taken to stop King Mahabali from conquering the 3 worlds. However, he was blessed by Vamana Ruba to rule the lower worlds. This proves that devotion with great desires will prevent one from reaching the upper worlds. However, this avatar shows that God forgives all the wrong doers if they surrender at his lotus feet and fulfill their wishes in a corrective way.

Parasu Ramar Avatar (warrior sanyasi)

Parasu Rama was a sanyasi but he avenged his father's murder by killing all the kings for doing injustice. (I feel that the kings killed by him might be the ones who were on the wrong path. The great king Dasaratha, father of Rama was able to escape this because he was one of the rightful Kings.

However to avoid Parasu Rama's vow he kept on getting married after each stipulated period). This revenge attitude only proves that anger was the reason for all killings, which only accumulated his sins. It is a good example that shows on how a highly spiritual person will diminish his qualities by the enemy within called anger. At later stage for many years, he carried out penance and meditation to clear his sins.

Rama Avatar

Rama was symbol of all good qualities a human being should possess. He taught others how to be a good son, brother, relative, friend, warrior, savior, citizen and king. He showed his love, humbleness, respect, faithfulness and kindness to all. The Avatar name Rama was derived from the 2nd word of Na ra yana and the 2nd word Na ma sivaya.

This word is hidden in the sound combined to become 'aum'. "Aum" is the name of Brahmam. This name is a mantra linked to the 'third eye' the Ajna-chakra controlled by Sky. This chakra's activation relieves us from all sins. protection and salvation too.

Krishna Avatar

Krishna's avatar is well embedded in everyone's memory. This was an important time for mankind to receive the message of god in the form of 'Bagavad Gita'. Krishna's birth as the 8th son and his viswa rupa tharisanam reveals the 8th stage of self-realization where all types of worship surrender at this point. Krishna also claims himself as the supreme power.

He informs us that 'One - Krishna' worship method is good enough than practicing other ways. He has also emphasized the other higher stages in meditation that is explained later.

Buddha Avatar

Buddha avatar was taken to inform us that desires are the cause of all sufferings. He showed love to all and experienced self-realization through meditation. He requested his followers not to neglect the path of Darma and encouraged others to search a Buddha within them and become a Buddha too.

Kalki Avatar

We can clearly see the religious conflicts around us. Many have lost their faith in religions and some in God. There are people who are free thinkers and others who just pass their time in enjoying life. Eventually, those without true faith in God will lose it while those without faith in God will begin to gain faith.

Too many restrictions, misinterpretation of true values of the holy books and other improper guidance for personal benefits are the reasons for such changes. Due to this, there are many seeking different approaches towards God but unable to get the right guides for their minds' quest. However, according to the fate of Kaliyuga the above changes are for the beginning of the next revelation stage. In mind revelation, the 10th stage has been acknowledged as the 10th incarnation - KALKI.

The messiah of Kaliyuga is a warrior who is capable to confront the evildoers, a guru to guide others to an enlightenment stage and a timekeeper preparing everything for the next Yuga. When different river waters emerge into the sea and become seawater, no one could scoop a particular river water again from it. Similarly, whoever it is or whatever religion one adopts one can't differentiate his god upon realizing the form of 'light/jothi or Brahmam'.

Since time never waits for anyone, it is advisable for us to meditate and realize the 'light or Brahmam' form of the supreme. Each individual is a 'Kalki' upon attaining such perfection. The power of the supreme is in the name and not in ones' appearance.

Once your mind begins to follow 'one god' worship (as told by Krishna), the mind waves are controlled from going astray. Instead of running wild, it will begin to penetrate deeper within to find answers about our life. This is the experience of Lord Buddha.

Experiencing the supreme light form in us and forgoing all indifferences while understanding nature and its creation is the 10th mind revelation's power. When such perfection spreads among us we will be able to protect against all visible and invisible evil forces to help mankind with god's grace.

"I am experiencing improved changes about everything through all these years under the guidance of our Divine Guru Sri Kalki Jothi. I have yet to receive more facts in meditation that I wish to share with you.

The joy and contentment is something I wish others could experience too. Nature is for all and so is God. The universal creation is the greatest miracle. God never chose particular groups to shower kindness.

It is we who had laid the barriers, so choose a right guide for yourself to attain perfection."

Life Cycle

THE SOUND, LIGHT AND FEELINGS

OUR STARS & INNER SELF

The 'OM' is the sound of Brahmam. It is mainly identified by the combination of 'AH', 'HU' and 'MA' sounds. Each is characterized according to its creation, preservation & destruction ability. These powers are easily identified as Brahma (creator), Vishnu (preserver) and Siva (destroyer).

Our souls are part of Brahmam. As our birth is connected to the karma, mainly the character does such karma. These characters are related to the (birth) stars located in the universal zone.

Though the 'OM' is everywhere; the AH zone is very effectively been nearest to Brahmam. The HU zone is effective situated after AH zone. The MA zone is effective after the HU zone.

The star's character (human) rules mainly according to their position in such zones though still possessing the effects of other zones. To simplify, each zone's character is identified as (AH) Saathvigam, (HU) Rajasam & (MA) Thamasam.

By this classification, a person is easily identified on what type of basic treatment/divine knowledge activates the 'AH' power,
while others with the 'AH' power can be guided on how to energize it further.

All of us are born with human bodies but all don't behave similarly. The stars reveal our inner self of what is within us.

We see people like angels enjoying themselves and we also see angels enjoying in other's sorrow.

We see humble people turning to be terrorist or behaving violently to surprise others. These are the 'inner-self' in us that gets exposed in certain situations.

Such 'inner self' is linked to the previous life karma. What one does presently begets it on the next life.

Our memory records activate it to carry out the consequences while in the next new body/birth.

Love And Marriage

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

Nowadays, Love is mostly treated in satisfying each other’s body needs and financial solutions. This is the reason for many love and marriage break-ups. We have also seen some people who love their pets more than their life partners. It shows the insufficient recognition in human touch.

Many great ones had said that it is a gift to attain Human birth. This human body is a magnificent power base yet to be realized by most people. Love is another marvelous gift depending on what you love for or expecting from others. Love is an immeasurable feeling as such it is segregated accordingly by the sense of belonging or relations.

The feelings in every male and female are almost the same. In each body, we have a weak left side and a strong right side. Our feelings also reveal the firmness and weakness on both male and female bodies.

Marriage brings not only two persons together but also their feelings. If your feelings goes well with your partner than the marriage is fruitful, if not it becomes a debating ground where each ones respect is tarnished by accusations. Love is the structure for many relations.

True love is sacrifice, care, respect, faith and understanding. Tolerance and clear thinking are part of love’s assets. It is good to understand oneself first before comparing with others. Loving someone just for the sake of loving is safer than loving someone for reasons since it can change anytime.
